Project Overview

In many countries in North Africa and the Middle East, talking openly about religion is difficult, and people can be afraid to ask questions. Ennour, which means “light” in Arabic, is a website that allows people to explore religious topics in a less vulnerable and more private way than spoken conversations. 

I collaborated with another designer to create branding for Ennour and developed a WordPress site. We used a simplified sun as a logo, signifying light, and implemented a warm color palette, which we pulled from images I photographed in the Middle East. I created WordPress templates for the site’s operators to populate.
